Submit Your Full Paper (SPARK 2025 Proceedings: Springer Interactions)

Participants who presented their work at SPARK 2025, either through oral or poster sessions, are invited to submit full papers for consideration in the conference proceedings. The papers will undergo peer review and will be published in the Springer – Interactions series.

Submission Guidelines

  • Only authors who have presented a paper at SPARK 2025 are eligible to submit a full paper.

  • Authors must create a Springer account before submitting their full paper. Having an ORCID is recommended. It is also advisable to use an institutional email ID while creating the Springer account.

  • To submit your paper, click on “Submit Your Paper” below. Choose “Proceedings Paper” as the Article Type and then click “Start Submission.”

  • On the next page, open the second tab (Details). In the dropdown menu named “Collection,” select SPARK 2025 – Symposium on Physics: Advances in Research and Knowledge. This step is essential.

  • Prepare your manuscript using the official Springer template and upload the formatted file.

  • Read all the Author Guidelines carefully before submitting (links provided below).

  • All submissions will undergo a single-blind peer review, with each paper reviewed by at least two reviewers.

  • Once accepted, each paper will be published individually on the Springer Interactions – SPARK 2025 Proceedings page as soon as its review is completed. The link is provided below.

About the Symposium

SPARK 2025: The Department of Physics, North Lakhimpur University (formerly North Lakhimpur College – Autonomous), hosted the 2nd edition of the Symposium on Physics: Advances in Research and Knowledge, (SPARK). This two-day National Conference on Current Trends in Physics took place in the 31st October-1st November 2025. The conference featured invited keynote speeches, parallel sessions, and a poster session. Discussions held on both theoretical and experimental advancements, covering a wide range of topics in physics.

Call for Abstracts

(Call for Abstracts is now closed for SPARK 2025.)

SPARK 2025 invites abstract submissions from researchers and academics across various domains of Physics. Please carefully follow the guidelines below while preparing your submission. The abstract portal will open shortly. Meanwhile, authors are encouraged to prepare the following:

  1. CERN-Indico Account: A CERN-Indico account is required for abstract submission. You can log in log-in using your existing account or create a new account using your email address.
  2. Abstract Length: Abstracts should not exceed 500 words. Ensure your abstract provides a clear and concise summary of your research, highlighting the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. For details see the Abstract Template.
  3. Author Information: Include the names of all the authors, email address of the corresponding author, and affiliations of all the authors.
  4. Submission Deadline: The last date for abstract submission is 30th September 20th September 2025 (Extended). We encourage participants to submit their abstracts well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.
  5. Mode of Presentation: The authors may choose either oral or Poster as the preferred mode of presentation. A maximum of 15 poster presentations will be accepted for SPARK-2025, with no more than 4 papers from each track. During the abstract acceptance process, the organizers reserve the right to modify the preferred presentation type indicated by the authors during submission.
  6. File Type: The abstract file uploaded should be in either .doc/.docx or .pdf format.
  7. Approval Process: Upon submission, all abstracts will be reviewed by our expert committee. Abstract acceptances will be communicated periodically in batches.
  8. Registration Process: Approved participants must complete the symposium registration process. Only registered participants will be eligible to present their research during the symposium.

Note:

  2. The registration fee covers the conference kit, participation certificates, tea and lunch.
  3. Multiple co-authors can register under a single abstract; however, each author wishing to register must submit a separate registration form.
  4. The participants may have to bear extra expenditures for publishing the proceedings, if required.
  5. Payment can be made to the conference account using UPI, NEFT, IMPS or Bank Deposit.
  6. All participants who wish to attend the conference without presentation must also register for the conference.
  7. We may be able to provide accommodation to a limited number of participants in the University Guest House for a minimal additional fee. Due to limited capacity, preference will be given to participants traveling from distant locations. North Lakhimpur University

The newly established university is one of the latest additions to the state of Assam's higher education landscape, having been established in September 2023. This significant development came about when the Assam government upgraded the former North Lakhimpur College to a state university. The former North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous) had already carved out a distinguished reputation in the field of higher education in Assam. Notably, it was the first autonomous college in Assam and the second in the entire North East India region.

The Department of Physics at this institution was initiated in 1966, marking a pivotal moment in the institution's history. In 1976, the department introduced the BSc Honours course in Physics. Since its inception, the department has been at the forefront of physics education in the North East, producing over 400 graduates.The department introduced the MSc course in 2021. Furthermore, it is currently in the process of planning and preparing to launch Research Programs later this year.

How to Reach North Lakhimpur

North Lakhimpur University is located in the capital town of Lakhimpur District, Assam. Situated in North Lakhimpur, the University enjoys excellent connectivity through railways, roads, and flights. The nearest railway station, North Lakhimpur, is merely 4 kilometers away from the University, while the closest airport, Lilabari, is situated at a convenient distance of 9 kilometers.

01. General FAQ

What are the guidelines for Poster Presentation?

For the poster presentation, the dimensions should be 3 feet in width and 4 feet in length. Authors are free to design their posters according to their preferences. It is advisable to include the conference name and the conference logo on the poster. The logo can be downloaded from the conference website. Necessary arrangements for hanging and displaying the posters will be provided by the organizers. Authors are required to submit their posters to the organizers at least one hour before the start of the poster session.

who should pay the registration fee?

Anyone who wishes to participate in the conference (with or without presentation) must pay the registration fee.

What kind of research can be submitted for the conference?

The research work submitted for the conference should not be already published work or under review for publication.

When shall the book of abstract be published?

The book of abstract will be published on the day of the conference.

When will be the conference proceedings published?

The detailed timeline will be announced soon.

Can we get a discount for group registrations ?

No, the conference is for individual registration only. If multiple participants wants to register against a single Abstract they need to Submit the Registration forms separately.

Can I attend the conference without presentation?

Yes, you can. But you have to register for the conference.
